Ben stands, legs shaking as he does so, but he manages the few steps to the bath and then into it.
And loses his breath. He gasps so hard it hurts and his stomach bulges, shapes visible and one escapes to grab the edge of the bath, as if to resist getting in.
"It's hot. This is hot, right?" Being dead and cool and numb and almost soothing. But this, this was- he's sure it's hot.
Then the trembling kicks back in as his body realises it's cold and needs to warm up. Warm over his shoulders and he makes another sound and actually physically pushes Them back towards his stomach.
